| Details: | Bass player Jim Parris (Carmel) and singer, multimedia artist, percussionist, Xumo Nounjio from Cameroon/Barcelona/Paris are Nzi Dada. With Percussionist Christophe V (France) the concert combines elements of ritualistic movement and sculpture with live percussion, vocals and powerful bass lines.
The live performance blends the mystical elements of Bantu tradition with the techniques of the modern studio in a performance that is both fiercely percussive and hauntingly ceremonial. |
