Craig bellamy struck for coventry to give them a much-needed 1-0 victory over leicester who are trying to get old man roberto mancini on loan from lazio. leeds were also on the wrong end of a 1-0 scoreline as they crashed surprisingly to southampton making footytalk wonder what the hell is going on. ever-improving west ham drew 1-1 with aston villa while manchester city put five past everton which doubtless left big grins on the faces of former everton boys joe royle and richard dunne. less happy was terry venables whose first game in charge of middlesboroguh was a 1-0 defeat at sunderland who go fifth. on sunday, liverpool, heskeyless and idealess were beaten 1-0 by ipswich, ending their unbeaten home record. click here for the latest premiership table.
